With the NEWLY Enhanced Online Banking, did you know that you can edit your transaction descriptions and categorize your spending? These tools are designed to help you manage and track your spending to better understand your finances. 

The spending reports will help you with budgeting by showing you how much you spend in different categories. Try using these tools by following the simple steps outlined below.  (Click "Read More" below)

Step #1 - Go to All Transactions

Hover over Accounts > Move your mouse over the account you would like to edit and categorize > Move over to the drop down menu that appears and hover over Transactions > Move over to the drop down menu that appears and then hover and click on All Transactions.

Step #2 - Click on "Change" Icon

All of the transactions under "Activity Details" may be edited by clicking the "Change" icon as shown above. The image above was scaled down to fit this blog post, but just look for the icon with the pencil on it to the left of the transaction amount and click on it. 

Step #3 - Edit the Description and Category

Once you click on the "Change" icon, you should be able to edit the Description field and categorize the transaction. When finished, just click the "Save" icon. The image above was scaled down to fit this blog post.

Step #4 - View Reports

By categorizing each transaction, you now can view reports of your spending. On the landing page, you will notice the pie chart on the bottom includes your spending categories by percentage. You may also click on "Reports" under "All Transactions" to view your spending reports.
